Scouts and Explorers Now Open

On 6th February, we held our Scouts and Explorers Open evening. With some new volunteers and great activities up our sleeves, we welcomed our newest young people into our Scouting family.
We had activities like axe throwing, paracord bracelet making and how to start a fire! All of the new young people had a great time and really got involved with the activities.
Some of the feedback we received on the night:
"My daughter had a GREAT time. She came home on such a high she said "I need to chill and wind down" It was awesome (L, aged 16)
"I had to DRAG my son along last night, he didn't really want to come, but he had a fab time and has now changed his tune and wants to come along, which from a lazy tween, is very high praise!!" (M, aged 12)
We all had a great time engaging with the young people and teaching some new skills.
